Some cute pictures

I thought she looked so dainty in this picture, like she's about to curtsey or something. She's modeling her pretty new dress. :)

I found a Little Einsteins book for Sophie at Toys R Us recently, and I thought she might like it when she's a little older because it has a lot of reading in it, so I didn't bother showing it to her right away when I brought it home. She found it where I had laid it and she hasn't stopped flipping the pages since. Once she gets to the end, she starts at the beginning again. She LOVES it. So far she can point out Rocket on every page when you ask her to, but we're still working on Leo, Quincy, Annie, and June.

I bought this blanket for her when I went shopping at the grocery store and when I unfolded it in front of her, she immediately laid down on it and snuggled with it. I think she liked it. :) It's SUPER soft.

Beth snagged her a used-condition play kitchen that she plays with a lot now. We'd noticed that Sophie loved playing with kitchen sets at the church preschool and with her cousin Maddie's, and has really taken to this one. I got her some little plastic pots and pans to go with it and showed her how to pretend eat, and now she feeds her baby dolls. She's very busy in her kitchen! Things are always being moved here and there, from the microwave to the dishwasher to the sink to the stovetop...
