Frank and I were talking about all the words Sophie knows how to spell (on her own, without help) and I was curious as to how many she knows. So I made a list! Between Frank, my mom, and myself, we came up with 24 words but there may be more that we didn't think of.
I'm so proud of my little girl! I'm going to share the list!
She knows: Hat, Book, Bed, Fox, Box, Dog, Cat, Water, Rocket, Cow, On, Off, Car, Mom, Dad, Nest, Bird, Sophie/Sophia, Noelle, Levi, Baby, Bear, Ball, and Hi.
(She can even write "Hi" on her Magna Doodle!)
Some of these words she's learned from watching the PBS show Word World. It's a great show for pre-schoolers where every character and pretty much everything in the show is made up of letters! It's pretty innovative if you ask me, and Sophie loves it. Take a look!
